Business Development Officer (Australian Campaign)

The Business Development Officer coordinates activities supporting company’s growth. This includes developing and supporting presentations, partner with Sales, Marketing and other teams to support strategic initiatives and come up with new sales ideas.

Monitor and Evaluating Quality Performance (90%):

  • Contribute in building, development, and influence of a passionate sales and service culture within the company.
  • Help develop training programs for the organization’s sales representatives, developing scripts and procuring other sales resources and strategies.
  • Identify, develop and follow up on B2B leads across global market
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company’s product, price, process, and strategies.
  • Craft and collaborate with the business development team, executives, in the development of strategic content and initiatives that drive growth throughout the stages of the sales funnel, revenue, and partnerships
  • Continuously and aggressively research to identify new markets and trends to  remain competitive and relevant in the industry
  • Conduct cold-calls, presentations, organize sales visit and prospect canvassing as needed
  • Assist in crafting tailored business proposals for existing and new partners
  • Monitor compliances in respective legislative territories
  • Conducts contract review preparation and version management
  • Build and maintain good business relationship with partners to encourage renewal, repeat transactions, expansion and referrals.
  • Departmental Support & Administration (10%):
  • Contributes to the refinement and evolution of the business development eco-system
  • Use appropriate systems and resources to draft fixes/workarounds for reported issues
  • Perform additional duties and provide assistance as requested by enablesGROUP Leadership
  • Contribute to the development of department processes and procedures
  • Identify trendsetter ideas and report by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates a “customer obsessed” approach to work and demonstrate a positive “nothing is impossible” attitude.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, or equivalent work-related experience.
  • At least 5-year tenured experience working in a BPO/TPO/ICT environment and/or working experience in Business Development, Product Development, Brand Management & Strategy, Sales, Market Research.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workload requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in content creation for marketing and sales campaigns.
  • A truly client-centric mindset and the unreserved desire to inspire customer loyalty and to deliver service excellence.
  • Demonstrates strong EQ/EI to handle difficult situations, problem-solve and find creative resolution.
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver results within defined and agreed timeframes.
  • Solid experience using a myriad of tools: Internet browsers, MS Office, CRM, ERPs, social and mobility platforms etc.
  • Can listen and probe effectively to understand customer needs/expectations and articulate for cascade.
  • Focus on critical work details, proofread material quickly and accurately to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of employees and departments.
  • Must have outstanding English and business discourse – both oral and written.
  • Must be able to objectively measure and document intercultural customer interactions and identify any customer satisfaction issues with language/cultural or other issues.
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity in handling and maintaining confidential information.
  • Ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Identify areas of development and opportunities to improve processes.
  • Able to concentrate on tasks on a consistent basis and maintain operational rigor.
  • Able to apply concepts based on law, contracts, company policy, and/or procedure.
  • Exposure to behavioral science and engineering concepts preferred (but not mandatory).
  • Able to perceive and distinguish emotions in telephone conversations or written dialogue.
